I've known I was a writer since I was nine years old and read Harriet the Spy. Just like her, I began to carry around a notebook and write about the people and events in my life.
Since then, I've written about everything from brain surgery to dog food. I've worked at wonderful ad agencies—such as DDB (Seattle) and Colle + McVoy (Minneapolis). Many of my clients and co-workers have become dear friends.
I see the big picture, but I don't forget the details.
I consider it a privilege to help people tell their stories, and a blessing to get paid to do what I love.
I live in St. Paul with my beautiful 11-year-old daughter; two cats, and a feisty dog named Biscuit.
